IEEE and IEEE Communications Society Policies

To ensure appropriate consideration of conflicts of interest during the review process, the ComSoc prohibits changes to the list of authors once a paper has been submitted for review during review, revision, or (if accepted) final publication. The author list may be changed only prior to the submission deadline.

To be published in the IEEE/CIC ICCC 2015 Conference Proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore®, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the full (member or non-member) rate and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference unless the Workshop Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter.

For authors with multiple accepted papers, one full registration is valid for up to 2papers. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the IEEE/CIC ICCC 2015 conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore®.

Submit your Paper

Your final paper must be submitted no later than October 8, 2015 in order to be included in the conference proceedings.  The maximum paper length of five (5) printed pages. 1 additional page bringing the maximum  to six (6) printed pages  is permitted with an over length page charge of $100 USD. If you experience any problems during the upload process of your paper on EDAS, please contact help@edas-help.com.

Standard IEEE conference templates for LaTeX formats are found at here: http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html
You may also use one of the following templates for Microsoft Word: A4, US letter. Only PDF files will be accepted for the review process, and all submissions must be done through EDAS.

Final Paper Submission to IEEE/CIC ICCC 2015

All final submissions should be written in English with a maximum paper length of six (6) printed pages (10-point font) including figures without incurring additional page charges (maximum 1 additional page with over length page charge if accepted). Note that the maximum number of pages for a paper is 7; 6 pages plus 1 additional page allowed with a charge for the one additional page of USD100 if accepted. Papers exceeding 7 pages will not be accepted at EDAS.

Final papers upload via EDAS: Authors would use the upload link (file folder icon) at "My papers" on EDAS.
Standard IEEE conference templates for LaTeX formats are found at here: http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html
You can also use the sample template for Microsoft Word: A4, US letter.

Steps for final paper submissions (Workshop papers follow the same steps; the only difference is the conference ID to access IEEE PDF eXpress (36887X for main conference, 36187X for workshop))

1.  Revise your manuscript based on the review comments, and finalize your manuscript using IEEE template for conference papers.
2.  You are suggested to use IEEE PDF eXpress to converse your paper into an IEEE Xplore compatible PDF file for uploading, according to the following steps. Note that detailed instructions for using IEEE PDF eXpress is provided below in the section “Detailed instructions for accessing      and using the IEEE PDF eXpress site”.
3.  Create IEEE PDF eXpress account.
4.  Upload source file(s) for Conversion; and/or PDF(s) for Checking.
5.  Use IEEE PDF eXpress to attain IEEE Xplore -compatible PDF(s).
6.  Register your paper at the registration site (http://www.ieee-iccc.org/registration.html). At least one author of an accepted paper         must register at the AUTHOR rate even if the author is a student. One AUTHOR registration can cover up to three (3) papers on which the person who is registered is an author or co-author. You need the registration code for paper uploading
7. Submit final, IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF(s), with the registration code on EDAS. The deadline for submitting camera-ready submission is Oct1, 2015.

Detailed instructions for accessing and using the IEEE PDF eXpress site:

IEEE PDF eXpress is an IEEE-sponsored online tool, freely available to assist conference organizers and authors in complying with the latest IEEE requirement for PDF files. IEEE PDF eXpress will:
• convert a wide range of application formats to IEEE Xplore -compatible PDFs (conversion function),
• check author-created PDFs and report whether or not they are IEEE Xplore-compatible (PDF check function), and
• provide assistance to correct problems with PDFs.
To access IEEE PDF eXpress service for IEEE/CIC ICCC 2015, go to http://www.pdf-express.org/, with conference ID36887X for main conference and 36187X for workshop

Detailed instructions for accessing and using the IEEE PDF eXpress are as follows:

IEEE PDF eXpress converts the following file types to PDF:
Rich Text Format
Freelance
(La)TeX (DVI and all support files required)*
PageMaker
FrameMaker
QuarkXpress*
Word Pro
Microsoft Word
WordPerfect

*For documents created in formats that do not embed source files, include all support files with the final manuscript in a folder. Put this folder in a compressed archive for submission. If it is possible to embed images in the source document, you should do so to avoid potential issues, such as missing graphics.

IMPORTANT: A DVI (DeVice Independent file) is required for LaTeX conversions, in addition to the associated image files. Make sure that your LaTeX system can output a DVI, otherwise it cannot be converted. Be sure also to check that your images are properly referenced, and that DVI can handle the image file types used (DVI does not handle some newer image types, such as *.png).
